CAMP is meant to be easy, comfortable, and a little special. Please treat the house like it’s your own so future CAMPERS can enjoy it just as much. If anything comes up during your stay, text Clark anytime.

Arrival checklist

Please review upon arrival​
 

• Check-in is no earlier than 1:00PM on Thursdays

• Retrieve the key from the lockbox

  • Location: Garbage room, left side of the gatehouse, above the blue recycling bin

  • Text Clark for the code before arrival

• Use the small key to unlock the first sliding door to the kitchen

• All other doors can be unlocked from inside

• Connect to WiFi

  • Network: CAMP

  • Password: Dorothy540

• Confirm internet is working

  • If slow, unplug router and Google Mesh in the queen guest bedroom, wait 40 seconds, then plug back in

• Settle into your room

  • Please keep lighting and charging cables plugged in

• Turn on A/C as needed

  • Keep bedroom doors closed for best cooling

• Do a quick walkthrough

  • If anything is broken or missing, text Clark

 

Once you’re set, relax and enjoy CAMP.

DEPARTURE checklist

Please complete before leaving​
 

• Check-out is no later than 6:00PM on Wednesdays

• Return key to the lockbox

  • Location: Garbage room, left side of the gatehouse, above the blue recycling bin

• Get a jump start on laundry

  • Place fitted sheet, flat sheet, and pillowcases in laundry basket (shed)

  • Place used towels in a separate laundry basket

  • Run at least one full load of laundry (wash and dry) if possible

    • Do not leave wet laundry in the machine to avoid mildew​

• Take all garbage to the gatehouse

  • Secure with bungee cords

• Discard all perishables from refrigerator​

  • Wipe any spills​

• Replenish pantry items used

• Turn off all lights and A/C units

• Confirm irrigation system is still on

• Cover daybed and bean bags

• Return outdoor cushions to trunk

• Turn off grill gas, clean grill, and replace cover

• Turn off pool heater (if used)

• Send $250 cleaning fee via Venmo to @ClarkCohen

• Double check for personal belongings

  • Text Clark if anything is left behind​

house rules & Systems
Septic System (Important)

• All water used in the house flows into the septic system. Please be mindful of your usage.

• Wet wipes should never be used or flushed. This is a CAMP cardinal sin. Any damage caused will be passed along

​

Garbage & Recycling ​

• Two bins in the kitchen = garbage

• We do not recycle plastic, glass, or metal

• Paper recycling only under the sink

• Pickup schedule:

  • Garbage: Monday + Thursday mornings

  • Paper: Wednesday mornings

• Please secure all bins at the gatehouse using bungee cords to prevent animal access

Honor Code

• CAMP does not collect a security deposit.

• If something is broken or damaged, please text Clark so it can be addressed quickly and fairly

​

Pets​​​

• Pets are welcome, but please help protect the house:

  • Use the couch cover (gray furry throw to the right of the couch)

  • Clean accidents immediately

  • Cleaning spray for pet stains is under the kitchen sink

 

Inside the house

Bedrooms & A/C​​​

• Each bedroom has a wall A/C unit controlled by the switch below on the wall

• Keep doors closed while running A/C for best performance

WIFI​​​

• CAMP uses Verizon FIOS with Google Mesh

• If needed, unplug router and mesh in the queen guest bedroom to restart and get it moving fast again

​

LIVING ROOM​

• No A/C in the main living space

• Use the ceiling fan and open screen doors to circulate air​

 

KITCHEN & PANTRY

• Feel free to use shared condiments, spices, and non-perishables

• A reminder that the JURA coffee machine uses FULL BEANS, not grounds

• Replace what you use for future guests

• Clean any spills in the refrigerator or kitchen
   

Outdoor & pool
OUTDOOR UMBRELLAS​​​

• Open and close umbrellas carefully, these babies are expensive

• Use the pedal to rotate when opening

DAYBED & BEAN BAGS​​​

• Use rain covers during storms

• Store cushions and pillows in the outdoor trunk

• Bean bags must stay out of the pool

POOL HEATER​​​

• Max temperature: 86

• Text Clark for instructions before use

• $300 weekly charge applies

• Additional electrical usage beyond that may be charged

IRRIGATION SYSTEM​​

• Automatic watering system is attached to the front spigot

• Do not turn off the main water supply

• Use the split control if rinsing your feet
   

Fire & Safety

FIREPLACE​​​

• Use ONLY Duraflame logs (available at Pines Pantry), do not burn regular wood in fireplace

• Before use: Open the flue (handle vertical)

• After use: Close the flue (handle horizontal)

SAFETY EQUIPMENT​​

• Fire blankets are located:

  • Next to the couch

  • Under the kitchen sink

  • Under the grill

• Fire extinguishers are located: ​

  • Under the kitchen sink​

• Just in case, NARCAN is located:

  • In the drawer under the coffee machine/JURA​

  • In the first aid kit in the closet next to the primary bathroom 

 

tECHNOLOGY

SAMSUNG FRAME TV​​​

• Use the top left button on the remote to power on

• Toggle between TV and art mode

• Apps are available and logged in

• Do not purchase content with an account that is not yours. Any charges will be passed along

SONOS​​​

• Speakers located throughout the house

• MOVE speakers can be used outside

• Secure on wall hook when in use

• Return to charging dock each night

• Do not leave outside in the rain

 

PARTIES & GUESTS

GATHERINGS

CAMP is meant to be enjoyed, and we love when people gather.
That said, please treat the house and property as if it were your own.
​​​​

• Please do not have more than 20 people socializing at the house at any time

• Be mindful of the space, the neighbors, and overall noise levels

• Guests are responsible for leaving the house and outdoor areas in good condition

• Up to 6 guests are permitted to reside in the house at any time
